»Man strives to play more roles than life permits«

This quote from Jacob L. Moreno (Psychodrama,1946) is like he’s saying:

We’re all itching to try on new skins, to stretch beyond the everyday script.

For me - whether it’s theater, a workshop, or just riffing with a group - is about giving that itch a scratch.

It’s not about perfection

it’s about exploration, connection, and letting play crack open something real. That’s where the magic lives, and it’s why I keep coming back to it.

More About Me And My Experiences: A Shared Journey

It

begann on the windswept shores of the North Sea in Germany, where the river of my life first flowed. It’s a stream mostly friendly, with sudden rapids, hiding surprises around every bend.

With my family at the heart, I paddled out, art and movement as vital to me as food and drink, fueling my early banks.

The current carried me to universities across Germany - grand harbors where I taught, researched, penned articles, and tied theater’s vibrant docks to academic waters for 14 years.

The river widened in Italy’s sunlit valleys, where I drifted for 6 years with a youth travel company, soaking in the flow.

Around a bend, kids splashed in with photo projects, their laughter rippling the surface, while teacher trainings and youth camp seminars rose like lively tributaries.

Deeper waters brought a Master’s in Education and five years of Psychodrama training at Cologne’s Szenen Institut - steady currents shaping me.

My son - my pride - joined me on a glittering stretch, performing together in Spring Awakening, our voices echoing off the cliffs.

Theater surged, the joy of groups steering me onward, fueled by synergy’s magic.

Through shifting currents of facilitating and vital waters of performing, I’ve glided with people—laughing, learning, sharing every twist.

Now, this river has brought me to an island in British Columbia, Canada, where I paddle still, rich with encounters from shore to shore.
